“Hello! I am Dr. Monasmith, a chiropractor deeply committed to the principles of holistic health and wellness. Originating from Spokane, WA, my professional journ+ey was inspired by an interest in sports medicine and anatomy during my high school years.I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Western Washington University, where I not only immersed myself in academic pursuits but also cultivated a passion for activities such as basketball, snowboarding, golf, and pickleball. Following my undergraduate studies, I pursued a doctorate in chiropractic at the University of Western States.

My approach to healthcare is holistic, focusing on addressing conditions like subluxation, joint dysfunction, muscle, joint, nerve, extremity, and spinal pain. It is my commitment as a chiropractor to unravel the root causes of discomfort and foster overall well-being.  As your chiropractor, I am dedicated to guiding you towards optimal health. Whether you seek recovery from an injury, management of chronic pain, or an enhancement of your overall health, I am here to support you on this journey.” -Zach Monasmith, DC

“In our staff training this month we’ve been focusing on upper back pain, its causes and best practices for treating it. Ever wondered what’s behind that pesky upper back pain? There are four main causes. Let’s break it down:

  • Joints: Inflamed facet joints can lead to stiffness and localized pain.
  • Muscles: Strain from poor posture, repetitive movements, or traumatic injuries like whiplash can cause aching discomfort.
  • Discs: Herniation or degeneration can trigger pain by pressing on nerves.
  • Nerves: Compression or irritation of nerves can result in radiating pain and numbness.

Most back pain comes from more than one of these components, which is why at WellCore we use a variety of different treatments to attack your pain from all angles. If you or someone you know is suffering from pain in the upper back and shoulders, reply to this email, call or text us and we’ll get an appointment set up ASAP!”

May 2024 bring you good health and less pain!
