My approach to healthcare is holistic, focusing on addressing conditions like subluxation, joint dysfunction, muscle, joint, nerve, extremity, and spinal pain. We call this segment “Dr. Kip’s Tips” – nuggets of knowledge and advice to help you feel better and get the most out of your treatment here at WellCore:
“In our staff training this month we’ve been focusing on upper back pain, its causes and best practices for treating it. Ever wondered what’s behind that pesky upper back pain? There are four main causes. Let’s break it down:
- Joints: Inflamed facet joints can lead to stiffness and localized pain.
- Muscles: Strain from poor posture, repetitive movements, or traumatic injuries like whiplash can cause aching discomfort.
- Discs: Herniation or degeneration can trigger pain by pressing on nerves.
- Nerves: Compression or irritation of nerves can result in radiating pain and numbness.
Most back pain comes from more than one of these components, which is why at WellCore we use a variety of different treatments to attack your pain from all angles. If you or someone you know is suffering from pain in the upper back and shoulders, reply to this email, call or text us and we’ll get an appointment set up ASAP!”
May 2024 bring you good health and less pain!
Sincerely,
Dr. Thompson and the WellCore team
